Our program has been created to help individuals end their struggles with obesity and lead healthier lives. At the Florida Bariatric Centers, we offer three basic types of weight loss surgery: the Adjustable Gastric Band Procedure, the Roux-en-y Gastric Bypass surgery, and the Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy.
We also perform revisional surgery on individuals who have already undergone a form of bariatric surgery, and have either had complications from such surgery or have not successfully achieved significant weight loss results from the initial surgery.
At Palms of Pasadena Hospital , there is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary Adolescent Bariatric Program. Alongside the hospital’s adult bariatric program, the adolescent program has been recognized as a Center of Excellence by the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP) which is affiliated with the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and American Society Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).
